Thanks for stumbling across my blog and welcome if you're a new reader. My name is Jacob and this is my photography/personal/soap box/anything-it-needs-to-be blog, with a heavy emphasis on all things photography. Stick around for awhile and see if anything piques your interest. You can navigate around using the menus on the right side of the site.

Also, I'm currently engaged in a 365 photo project, where I take a picture a day for an entire year (read more about it here). So if you see anything with a '365' in the title, that's what it's for. And since it's a new photo every single day, you never quite know what you're going to get.

Luke Akerstrom Scores a Touchdown, thanks to Jacksonville Jaguars Brad Meester

This past Saturday, February 11th, was Luke Akerstrom day, as proclaimed by Jacksonville Mayor Alvin Brown. If you were present at Trinity Baptist Church around 4pm, you were treated to a really touching moment involving a special little boy named Luke and a soft-hearted Jacksonville Jaguar named Brad Meester.

Senior photos with Victoria

If I've ever photographed someone who just fits in naturally in front of the camera, it's Victoria. She's a senior this year and I had the great opportunity to photograph her senior portraits. And she couldn't have made it any easier. If I didn't know her any better, I'd swear she had modeling experience. I'll stop ranting, however, and let the photos speak for themselves.
