365 2012/3 – Omelet Day

So, I decided that I’m overweight. Well, actually, the scale did that for me. It can be so informative, ya know?

Anyhow, I’m changing my diet in response. In what you could call ‘stage 1′, I’m eating mostly fruits and vegetables, with some eggs and cheese thrown in. I’m trying to kick my body of some of its cravings, which is mainly sugars and starches. After a week, I’m going to start adding back in meats and a few starches. It’s going well so far.

Except, I tried to make my first omelet. Needless to say, if you’re making food and realize that it’s looking bad enough that you should take a picture of it, odds are that it isn’t going to taste the best. The odds were correct. I mean, I didn’t even think eggs could burn as fast as they did. Luckily, I tried again a few days later and I now have it figured out. Or at the least my wife likes them.
