I wasn’t kidding when I said Jaxson would be in quite a bit of my 365 pictures. Besides the fact that he’s a perfect photo opportunity waiting to happen, I’m his dad and a photographer, how can I NOT take a million pictures of him.
I took this photo at almost 2:30am because I was up late working. When you’re trying to start you own business and get it off the ground, there’s so many little things you have to do that eat up time. It’s worth it, for sure, but you just find yourself constantly thinking about the things that need to get done.
Now, I make lists. As I complete all those little tasks, I cross them off. It gives me a sense of completion I don’t think I’d have otherwise. Without that one little activity, I’d probably constantly feel overwhelmed and behind, like nothing was getting done. And then I wouldn’t be able to sleep so soundly like this little guy.
