365/61 – Baptism

My 365 photo for today is a shot I did of a baptism for a project with Trinity Baptist Church, where I attend. The purpose of baptism is for a Christian who professes a faith in Jesus to make it publically known, however, the act itself has no power. It’s purely symbolic. This pastor here is Jim Kilpatrick, who oversees and manages the Trinity Rescue Mission here in Jacksonville.
