365/59 – A QR code

I’ll just start by saying this was a slow photo day. Because of that, I grabbed a photo off of my Droid that I’d taken earlier in the day. Some of you might be wondering what in the world this is a picture of. It’s called a ‘QR code’ and you can expect to see more and more of these as time goes on. They use these in magazines and on the web to act as ‘links’, like you’d use a hyperlink on a web page. Except, you use your cell camera (and a program/app to read the code) and take a picture of it, then it directs you to wherever the link is supposed to go. Today, I was checking out an app on my phone using this one and I figured I’d take a ‘safety net’ photo to make sure I got something for today.
