Ok, ok, I know this is technically late, but I’m thinking if I do this 365, I’m going to have to tweak the rules a little, like maybe allowing some option to publish the next day or something, because sometimes there is no way to get this up at night since I go to bed kind of early to wake even earlier to go the gym. So somethings got to give (that’s why I’m doing a test run, right?).
For todays’ image (yesterday), I didn’t have a lot of time, so when I got home last night, I took a picture of the first thing that resonated with me. It was this:

Now, this may seem like kind of a cop out, and you’d be right, and no, this doesn’t showcases my best work, but sometimes something has got to give. There is a little meaning behind it though.
We have Comcast at our house and we’ve had DVR service for a few years now, and I’ll be the first to tell you that its great. You plug in what you want to record and it finds it and records based on parameters you set. Couldn’t be easier. However… well, you kind of find yourself stuck with too much TV to watch. We record a few things, like Southland, 24, The Office, some other shows, but lately we’ve been very busy in other areas of our life. So much so, in fact, that I’m constantly deleting shows to make sure the ones we really want to see don’t get the deletion hammer dropped on them. So, when I saw this little indicator on the box, it actually made me kind of sad, because yet another show I probably really want to watch is going to get deleted, and I’m going to have to spend time combing through what we want and don’t want to save. Too many choices.
For information sake, this was taken with a Canon G11 in macro mode. This camera’s a champ in macro mode.
