I haven’t had much time for photography as of late, which is the usual grumblings. I have, however, been busy working on a school project which has thankfully netted some cool photographic opportunities as well as others. I’ve been trying to get the time together to do some photos and interviews with some of the homeless people from my city and it’s never taken form until now. Because of a project I’m working on for one of my classes, the two endeavours have crossed paths and it’s given me the opportunity to do some really good stuff.
I’ve interviewed and photographed one homeless person already and it’s something else. I’m transcribing the interview right now to get together the stuff to write the article but this guy’s story is incredible but terribly sad. I believe it will be very compelling and you’ll want to read it when it gets finished. I just need to get it finished first.
So check back within the next few days and maybe it’ll be up. I’m trying to not rush it because I want to make sure it’s done right, but, man, what a story.
